The Keto RN Thai Basil Beef Bowls

Ingredients :

1 lb thinly sliced steak

1 tbsp olive oil or coconut oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 small red onion, thinly sliced

1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced

1/4-1/2 red chili flakes

3 tbsp coconut aminos (GF soy sauce alternative)

1 tbsp fish sauce (make sure it’s gluten-free)

1 tbsp lime juice

1/2 cup fresh Thai basil leaves (regular basil works in a pinch)

1-10 oz. package shredded cabbage

  Instructions:

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add

  2. oil.

  3. Sauté garlic and onion until fragrant (about 1–2 min).

  4. Add beef (or sliced steak) and cook until browned, breaking up as you go (5–6 min).

  5. Stir in bell peppers and chili. Cook for 3–4 minutes until just tender.

  6. Add coconut aminos, fish sauce, and lime juice. Stir well.

  7. Add shredded cabbage and let wilt down.

  8. Toss in fresh basil and stir just until wilted.

  9. Squueze half of lime over mixture
